And we’re back racing,2020 has finally kicked off for the PDRA. After its long-awaited return, due to Covid -19 pandemic coming in and changing the racing world, leaving many scratching their heads on when racing could return. The team over at PDRA, under the leadership of Tyler Crossnoe, continued working while things were constantly changing with local and state government health codes. As months and months, pass and races having to be dropped. We find ourselves in the great state of North Carolina at Galot Motorsports Park.

As teams make their way to compete, so did the rain, dumping large amounts of the wet stuff. Tyler and crew had their hands full, with keeping the track dry. The rain continued during the much need testing days. The crew continued to push to get teams as many passes as possible.

On Friday, with the weather still giving the crew a hard time, the PDRA staff pushed late into the day with hopes that the rain would hold off so that qualifying could get underway, having to fit all the classes in, mother nature would eventually put a stop to things pushing everything to Saturday and giving crews two chances to make the show.

Saturday was a hot and action-packed day of racing, having to get all the classes qualified as well as one round of elimination done was no easy task for Tyler and crew, the Galot Motorsports Park crew and all of the race teams. Everyone had to do their part to make it happen, from the Jr’s to the pros everyone had to help. Once things got started they didn’t stop, pass after pass to keeping things flowing.
