Kings of Grudge made their way to the famous Piedmont Dragway, bringing some of the motorcycle drag racing world's best and toughest grudge racers to test yes that’s right test. With to current state of the world and things slowly opening back up with many rules most tracks and organizations have to change how the event run. Kog didn’t let that stop them only allowing crew in for this event the racers put together their shootouts to make this one a special event along with the normal KOG shootouts. PDRA 2020 KICKOFF GALOT MOTORSPORTS PARK
And we’re back racing,2020 has finally kicked off for the PDRA. After its long-awaited return, due to Covid -19 pandemic coming in and changing the racing world, leaving many scratching their heads on when racing could return. The team over at PDRA, under the leadership of Tyler Crossnoe, continued working while things were constantly changing with local and state government health codes. As months and months, pass and races having to be dropped. We find ourselves in the great state of North Carolina at Galot Motorsports Park.

As teams make their way to compete, so did the rain, dumping large amounts of the wet stuff. Tyler and crew had their hands full, with keeping the track dry. The rain continued during the much need testing days. The crew continued to push to get teams as many passes as possible.

On Friday, with the weather still giving the crew a hard time, the PDRA staff pushed late into the day with hopes that the rain would hold off so that qualifying could get underway, having to fit all the classes in, mother nature would eventually put a stop to things pushing everything to Saturday and giving crews two chances to make the show.

Saturday was a hot and action-packed day of racing, having to get all the classes qualified as well as one round of elimination done was no easy task for Tyler and crew, the Galot Motorsports Park crew and all of the race teams. Everyone had to do their part to make it happen, from the Jr’s to the pros everyone had to help. Once things got started they didn’t stop, pass after pass to keeping things flowing.

Super Stock is in for 2020!

HTP super stock is in for 2020. After a lengthy absence from the motorcycle drag racing world super stock is back and looking to be a show stopper, the class has produced some of the top riders in racing. Riders will be throwing their legs over some of the most powerful production bikes to date from all of the manufacturers from Yamaha, Honda, Kawasaki, Suzuki and the sleeper in the game Ducati with its amazing Panigale V4. Jason Line to retire from Pro Stock driving duties after 2020 season
Jason Line to retire from Nhra Pro Stock driving no way, but it is in fact true. Jason line has been major part of racing for years entering the class in 2003 the same year i was graduating high school lol. Jason quickly became a force in the class picking up major sponsorship from Summit Racing Equipment and a host of others. Line shared a pit along side team mate Greg Anderson from the kent Black stable. Line through the years has gain many accomplishments from four national championship, a massive amount of number one qualifiers even setting the MPH record. Line will not be exiting the sport but just taking a different direction after the 2020 season.

As the season is fast approaching XDA is gearing up for one exciting year. XDA will be bringing back their core classes pros treet,real street ,pro xtreme, 4.60 index ,5.60 index, street e.t ,pro e.t and crazy 8 along with a host of grudge classes . XDA along with HTP performance will also bring the exciting class of super sport giving riders the task of riding factory stock bikes down the 1320. The season will float between two amazing tracks Maryland international raceway and Virginia motorsports park . WPGC Bike Fest and the Virginia Bike Bash will be back this year as. XDA gets the ball rolling in April with the PFR spring nationals in April
